Ebay does provide a super way for almost anyone to make some money. Whether you are selling an old stereo or trying to set up an entire business, Ebay not only is a very viable choice, they have training classes, coaching and books to show you step by step how to get going.

There is even a software package that will produce reports to show what is selling well, who is searching, what they are searching for, and the prices that items are going for. All valuable information as you attempt to set up either a small at home business, or make some attempts to get rid of junk around the house.

A recent search using this software showed that one of the biggest sellers lately is anything by Cuisinart, and more specifically, the cuisinart food processor. Cuisinart is a French company that has been around for decades because they do produce fine quality housewares and they have many repeat customers and followers the world over. The problem is that their products can be a bit pricy, and even though they are all top quality and will last for years, consumers want to find the best possible deals. Buying items on Ebay is popular because if you can find someone selling what you want who lives fairly close you can save tons on shipping. Just shipping out something as heavy as a food processor can add another to the product – possibly eating up your savings.

One of the easiest businesses to start using Ebay is the fashion jewelry wholesale business. Ebay has entire pages of listings of wholesalers who aren’t even all that particular about whether they are selling to bona fide companies or single users. This type of jewelry and accessories is common, affordable, and easy to sell. Don’t forget one important thing: you will have a lot of competition is you decide to pursue this route.

When you do decide to try the wholesale accessories business you do need to have a way to figure out your break even point, and then know what the standard mark up is for each item. If you price your products wrong you’ll be out of business before you start. Sure, you might sell everything, but if you didn’t make a profit, what was the purpose?

Another problem to be aware of is that almost every retail/reseller on Ebay has used an Ebay wholesale company to buy from. What does that mean? All the resellers are offering the exact same products, usually even using the same catalog and product descriptions along with the same photos.

Aside from jewelry, other items that sell well are anything that supports breast cancer research – the ‘pinks’. Almost every company makes something pink and then sends a certain from the sale to the cancer research foundation. These items come in every size and category. Just don’t make the mistake of buying something from the Victorias Secret ‘Pink’ line thinking you are supporting cancer research. You aren’t.

Individuals also sell their pink products for various reasons, especially their kitchen appliances. Let’s face it – too much pink in a kitchen can drive someone nuts. You, on the other hand, might be in the mood for adding a little pink to your empty counter space!
